Vaccinations
Transporting your pet is like sending your child to kindergarten they may catch a cold from the other kids because they are in a new environment. Puppy Ship LLC works extremely hard to prevent this from happening. We would ask that you help us too. We would like to recommend that all pets traveling with us have their vaccinations specifically against kennel cough (Bordetella). The injection works fine but needs to be given in enough time before traveling to take effect. If you are transporting the pet in a short period of time we would suggest using the intranasal (inhaled through the nose) vaccine. We would also suggest that a fecal test be done to make sure a perfectly "healthy looking" pet does not have coccidia, giardia or parvo virus. (Even if a pet seems fine at the time if they become stressed the symptoms may become apparent.) If the test is positive then please treat the pet and have it retested before transporting. If we all work together ours pet will stay healthier.
